This Sunday, June 30th from 2-5 pm we'll be at Reid's Orchard & Winery for their Music in the Valley Series.  They are located at 2135 Buchanan Valley Road, Orrtanna, PA  17353 (only 7.7 miles from our farm).  The concert is free and vocals & guitar on Sunday will be by Shelley McCarthy.

We are catering the event and will have yummy local food for sale which we prepared in our licensed on-farm commercial kitchen.  The menu includes...

Sloppy Joe Sliders-Made with grass fed grass finished beef raised on our organic pastures on our farm.  It's our family's all time favorite recipe!

Spelt Onion Seeded Crackers-Made fresh in our kitchen using the ancient wheat called spelt. Baked to perfection and topped with caramelized onions, Celtic Sea Salt and garlic.  Plain crackers with just Celtic Sea Salt are also an option.

Keswick Cheeses-Fresh, raw milk cheeses from our farm friends in Newburg. We’re sure we have a cheese to match your taste buds. Our selections of cheeses include Vermeer, Lesher, Wallaby, Cheddar, Blue cheese, reserve, and Dragon’s breath (it’s hot!).

Keswick Mac & Cheese- Who says mac and cheese has to be made with just cheddar? Our Keswick mac & cheese combines four different cheeses to make a creamy dish.

Sampler Platter-Can’t decide which option is best for you? Split a platter or enjoy all to yourself. You’ll get a taste of all we have to offer!

Brownies- Reid’s Blueberry wine gives these brownies a local flavor. Baked fresh in our commercial kitchen, these brownies will be a perfect way to finish off your meal.

Don't forget that the Early Bird Deadline (5% discount) to sign up for our Local, Organic Apple CSA share through Spiral Path Farm is March 15th!  You can sign up through their website.

The description of the CSA share:

Local, Organic Apple Share:  8 deliveries throughout the fall, occurring the weeks of Sept 9th (apples), Sept 23rd (apples & pint of sauce), Oct 7th (apples), Oct 21st (apples & pint of sauce), Nov 4th (apples), Nov 18th (apples & cider), Dec 2nd(apples), and Dec 16th (apples & cider).  Each delivery includes ½ peck of apples (roughly 12 apples) except the two weeks when some apples are substituted for a half gallon of apple cider in your box (due to the space required for the cider).  The varieties you receive will change throughout the fall as the different varieties ripen. This year the share has been expanded to offer 2 deliveries in December.

If you sign up before March 15th, you receive a 5% discount.  The total is $130.19 if you pay in full BEFORE March 15th and $137.04 AFTER March 15th.

The share is more expensive than if you were to come to our farm, however if you want apples plus occasional sauce and cider every other week Sept-Dec, it may be worth the delivery expense and save you time!  They have 40 pick-up sites in Pennsylvania...check them out here

This year Spiral Path has opened the apple share up to everybody!  You do not need to be a member of their organic vegetable CSA to purchase our organic apple share through them.

That being said...their organic vegetable CSA share is amazing!  You should try it!

Please let us know if you have any questions.
